While the headband looks well made, i’m not sure about the longevity of it. Not too sure it’s really italian leather as it seems thin and the grain is not what i’d expect of fine italian leather. that said the fitment is spot on on my lcd-gx and much better than the stock headband. looks really good with the red earcups on the lcd-gx. hesitant to give it 5 stars due to the price and quality of materials. Time will tell on wear over time.

I understand your hesitation around the leather, and I truly value your honest feedback. I want to assure you that the headband is made from full-grain Italian leather. I use Nappa leather sourced from Gruppo Mastrotto, Specifically your Cranberry colorway is the MS340042 Parrot colorway from their Nappa collection: https://www.mastrotto.com/en/collections/nappa.
I’m a one-man studio, each headband is handmade by me, not produced in a factory, so the material choice and craftsmanship are things I care deeply about. I completely get wanting to see how it wears over time, and I stand by its durability. But if you ever run into any issues, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

I recently got a pair of used LCD-2 Closed Back and needed a fresh vegan suspension strap. Got in touch with Jin at Turbulent Labs to try to work something out, despite that there was only the genuine animal leather version available.
Thankfully TL were open to trying to make it work with vegan materials as well, so I managed to get a custom order for a strap made!
Hopefully this will be a future option through the shop as well, from my understanding it’s a work in progress trying to find the right combination of materials that will withstand the durability test.
Regardless of future availability, im absolutely stoked on the strap. It arrived within 2 business days after shipping (which is pretty crazy, because I live in Norway, and TL is based in Malaysia, as far as I’m aware)
The comfort is on another level with this strap. You can easily do 5-6 hours of use without any hotspot problems at all. At least that was the case for me.
Full score across the board. Definitely recommend. Will be back for a new one when needed 100%.

I've upgraded with these on 2classics and GX. Great upgrade over the standard headband (which isn't bad but can stretch overtime). Just buy it, you won't be disappointed.
